Mike Tyson Extravaganza

In celebration of the new Punchout game being released for the wii just recently, I saw the Tyson documentary during the weekend or attempted to see it since I fell asleep half of the way in. Good documentary but not that good of a movie in general. Tyson is hella boring now being all mellow and stuff. I guess it was more fun when he was all crazy and cocky like Kanye West is like now.

Looking back, Tyson really made a name for himself. The documentary said that he was a nobody growing up and it was interesting to see all the drama unfold and how a guy like that handles extreme levels of fame and fortune. That and all the crazyness of course, the dude bit a guy's ear for god sakes! But yeah, he's no fun anymore and I wouldn't recommend his film unless you are a big Tyson or boxing fan considering it made me for sleep halfway through.

Not mike tyson...

It did however make me think about the Tyson archetypes that appeared while he was famous though. He had such a distict look to him and he was sooooo famous that it was imposible not to include a badass boxer or anything you make, be it cartoons, games or whatever.

Still not Mike Tyson...

So there, yet another one of those rise to fame stories ending up badly. I think he's doing well though, he's doing more PR now than he did a few years back since he was casted in a movie I think. He was also in the Adam Carolla podcast a few weeks back to promote his new movie. Who knows? maybe he'll be in the next Celebrity Apprentice!

This is Mike Tyson...

Still bumbed that he's not in the new Punchout game though since that game makes me wanna buy a wii. He will be appearing on the new Fight Night game though, bit I have no plans to pick that one up. Total bummer.

Saizen gets 10/5 stars for always giving me that need-to-buy feeling which I only get at shops that sell sweets/electronics/books. It has lots of good items as well as silly stuff (that you buy but can't explain why).
