Just because her concert's coming up on the 11th of August. I've decided to give this album a listen. This is not part of my usual music genre but Poker Face gets to you, especially when it is played practically everywhere.

Lady Gaga Biography:

  • Her real name's Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta
  • She began working as a songwriter for pop acts such as the Pussycat Dolls, Akon, Fergie, etc.
  • She also performs in burlesque shows. (Who wouldn't with that butt of hers? :D)
  • The name Gaga came from Queen's single, "Radio Ga Ga"

Here's a really really really short review. I'll just add pics of her to fatten it up. haha! :D

The many faces of Lady Gaga:

A couple of comments about her image:

[1] I love the way she wears her wigs. I love her image in Poker Face.

[2] She has the butt that would rival J.Lo's. :D

[3] She's hot, we all know that, but try catching her without shades or a wig, made me realize that she's not that pretty after all. (kanya-kanyang opinion ok? :P HAHA)

Overall, I think that The Fame has quite a few catchy songs. Personal favorites of mine are Just Dance, Love Game, Paparazzi, The Fame, Beautiful Dirty Rich. :) So, if you happen to be in a dancing mood, this album would suffice. :D Electronica, not really my thing but hey, Lady Gaga makes it work! :D

I know guys don't usually like this type of music but give this album a chance. :D You might like it. :D

I love her style, hehe, but I've never really listened to her until I hitched a ride with you! Not my type of music din pero very catchy, and she really does have a voice!

i like SOME of her songs pero i'm still confused on what she thinks she is and what she wants to be. She goes for all of these outrageous looks pro at the end of the day, her music isn't that different from anything you've heard out there so there's kind of a conflict for me.

Siguro if I haven't seen her before I wouldn't have this problem. She on par to a Katy Perry for me right. She has like 3 to 4 good tracks, the rest are kinda throwaway and out of character. That and I get the vibe that she's trying so hard to be different through the clothes and doo-dads:| ewan! i like lady gaga, she had me at disco stick.

Saizen gets 10/5 stars for always giving me that need-to-buy feeling which I only get at shops that sell sweets/electronics/books. It has lots of good items as well as silly stuff (that you buy but can't explain why).
